H.A.K Industrial Chemicals LLC exhibits at Middle East Coatings Show 2017

Dubai, UAE: H.A.K Industrial Chemicals LLC took part in the Middle East Coatings Show (MECS) held recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13-15th March 2017.

Founded more than 20 years back, the Show has grown to more than 10 times its original size and is a very important platform for suppliers and customers in the paints, coatings, printing inks and construction chemicals industries to network and exchange ideas on latest technological developments.

H.A.K works with around 18 principals from all over the world to supply speciality chemicals to customers in these industries. This time four of them - Potters, Arabian Zinc, Cabot and LKAB Minerals - displayed their product range at the H.A.K stand. H.A.K supplies material to customers located in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, KSA, Qatar and Jordan from their Dubai stock.

The three-day show was well attended by customers from the GCC, Middle East, parts of Africa and the sub-continent.

The main focus this time was on four themes - thermal insulation, flame retardancy, low VOC (volatile organic compound) products and water based solutions in paints and coatings - due to ongoing legislation and environmental issues in this sector. Many of the principals that H.A.K work with have products that meet requirements under the four categories and were actively promoted and presented to existing as well as potential customers. Business in this segment is on the rise due to a greater awareness to incorporate environmentally friendly raw materials in many products used in the country.

During the Show, H.A.K was approached by at least two potential suppliers from Asia and Europe to promote their product range in this region. These will be evaluated and if there is a match, H.A.K’s product portfolio could expand later this year.
